Flint Michigan Couple Issues a Pre-Show Video Their Upcoming Italy Tour

Rusty and Laurie Wright and band are simply too hot to constrain to the state of Michigan. Shortly they will depart to do their first tour of Italy. This video was shot pre-trip.

If these people were to issue an IPO I would highly suggest investing. They are solid gold and quickly rising in value.

As this is not likely, I would highly recommend that you catch their show when ever they play a festival or venue near you.

Twelve Days And Counting Until the Cabin Fever Musicfest II–This Year Will Feature the Rusty Wright and the Mike Shepherd Bands

From Rusty and Laurie Wright of the Rusty Wright Band:

Cabin Fever Musicfest II is 12 days away. Once again we’ll be doing our yearly party at the Davison Country Club. We’ll be doing 50/50 raffles and proceeds will go to Adopt-a-Pet of Fenton, MI.

This year we decided to make it an event with us and a marvelous new talented group of kids, The Mike Shepherd Band from Owosso, Michigan.

Mike will be making his debut at the Youth Showcase on Beale St. in Memphis, Tennessee this week. We wanted to bring this talented young man to Cabin Fever II so he will be opening the show at 7pm. Then RWB takes the stage for continuous music for the rest of the night (ok, except for an occasional break for 50/50 drawings)

Our Concert DVD will be released that night and will be available for sale for a special price of $10 at Cabin Fever only. After the 29th it will be available online and at shows for $15. It took a while but the results are excellent. It includes interviews with the band as well as bonus materials.

We will also have commemorative T-shirts and we will be playing many new tunes from the upcoming RWB CD No. 3 due out this spring. Cash bar, finger food and some of the finest blues music anywhere!

Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door.
To get tickets you can do one of three options:

1. Buy online using Paypal. Make sure your web browser is up to date or you may have trouble using this link. You don’t need a Paypal account to use this, just a credit card. CLICK HERE TO BUY ONLINE

Detroit Comedy Festival’s “Laugh Detroit” Opens in Theaters Across Michigan–Features Soundtrack by MI Guitarist Rusty Wright

“Laugh Detroit”, a movie chronicling the second annual Detroit Comedy Festival at the legendary Comedy Castle, opens in Emagine and Cinema Hollywood Theaters across Michigan.

The soundtrack for the entire movie was done exclusively by Sadson Recording Artist, Rusty Wright of the Rusty Wright Band.

” I was asked by Miami Entertainment to do the music and loved the idea immediately”, said Wright.

” I worked on a previous release titled P.I. Blues and they asked if I would create some hard edged guitar stuff in a 70′s Detroit era style, so I started listening to a lot of Iggy Pop, MC5, Rockets and Ted Nugent stuff to get in the mind set. I am really pleased with the results and the talented comics in this film really seem to work well with my musical vibe.”

The movie opens across MI but the success of the premier has already garnered positive reviews after being picked up by the A.P. The distributor intends to market to larger markets in LA and NY as reviews come in.

Sadson Music is currently seeking tour dates for the Rusty Wright Band in 2010.
