Over the past two years The Kyla Brox Band have shot to prominence, wowing audiences with their passionate performances. As the daughter of bluesman Victor Brox, Kyla was surely born to sing the blues and her stunning voice is matched by a band of uniquely talented musicians.
About Kyla Brox Band
Kyla was born to sing. Hailing from Manchester, she grew up listening to her dad play the blues and her mum singing opera. At the age of 12 her dreams turned to reality when she started performing in her father’s band, The Victor Brox Blues Train. Since then, Kyla has grown to be an incredible singer, widely regarded as Britain’s number one female Blues singer. With five albums already recorded, Kyla has just released “Grey Sky Blue”, an acoustic extravaganza, featuring the unique guitar skills of song-writing partner, Danny Blomeley.
Kyla’s music is a heady mix of moody, classic blues and moving personal reflection, along with the cheeky lyrics and chunky, funky riff-driven songs that showcase Danny’s explosive guitar style so well. Never one to hold back, when Kyla performs you’re guaranteed an awesome performance, brimming with heart and soul and bursting with energy.
