Jazz Inside Magazine’s March 2010 feature the character theme of Humility – gathers the perspectives of six artists on how humility helps or hinders their pursuit of greatness in life and career, and whether humility is something they have had to learn or develop. The humble group includes Lynne Arriale (piano), Wayne Escoffery (sax), Pete Zimmer (drums), John Stein (guitar), Gilad Hekelsman (guitar) and Eric Harland (drums)

In March, an array of New England Conservatory alumni and faculty will be presenting performances throughout the New York area. In “40 Years of Jazz at New England Conservatory”, program founder Gunther Schuller, along with faculty members Hankus Netsky and Ken Schaphorst, among others give Jazz Inside the inside scoop on this highly regarded institution.
