B.B. King Reveals Solo Dates for 2010

Even though he just got off a winter tour with Buddy Guy, B.B. King isn’t thinking about taking a vacation anytime soon.

The 84-year-old blues great has already mapped out several solo dates for 2010, beginning April 19 in Denver, Colo., and continuing through a Nov. 21 concert in Ottawa, Canada. More dates may be added along the way.

King will also make a stop at Eric Clapton’s third Crossroads Guitar festival on June 26 at Toyota Park in Chicago.

King’s most recent album, 2008’s T Bone Burnett-produced One Kind Favor, marked the 14-time Grammy winner’s highest solo debut ever — no minor feat after 60-plus years in the business.
