Nashville, TN — Becky Schlegel celebrates Spring and the release of her new CD, DANDELION, with an intimate show at the Edgehill Café (1201 Villa Place, Nashville) on Monday, April 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Gifted musicians and fellow recording artists Randy Kohrs, Missy Raines and Josh Williams will join Becky and her DANDELION co-producer, banjoist/guitarist, Brian Fesler for the free show.

Schlegel, hailed for her exquisite voice and insightful songwriting, is looking forward to performing in Nashville with this all-star cast. “Having Randy, Missy and Josh join us will make this a really special evening for me,” Schlegel says.

Early press reviews for the CD, which is due in stores on April 6, are already pouring in:

“She’s a gifted songwriter with a voice that evokes Krauss or Parton and is a charming singer. Dandelion is a dandy.” –
“Fans of singer/songwriters such as Jewel and Dolly will want to take a chance on this.” – CountryWeekly
“The album makes up one of our early favorites of the year.” – That Nashville Sound

“Her creativity shines on this venture and, unlike many songwriters, Becky’s vocals are strong enough for her to possibly be her songs’ best interpreter.”- Stacy’s Music Row Report
“She touches you with all her talents and delivers everything you want a top shelf singer/songwriter to bring.” – Midwest Record

DANDELION is Becky’s fourth solo album of originals, following RED LEAF, DRIFTER LIKE ME and the critically-acclaimed FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE. The Minnesota Music Academy has honored her for five consecutive years, and in 2003, 2005 and 2008, Schlegel performed at the IBMA’s prestigious Songwriters’ Showcase. She continues to entertain fans at intimate venues surrounding her new Nashville home, and across the Midwest.
