Two or more times each year at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh, hundreds of Pittsburgh’s finest enjoy the most spectacular gourmet Soul Food Buffet north of the Mason-Dixon line, created by Chef Jim Gelzheiser who conducts a culinary symphony orchestra of the region’s finest chefs, accompanied by Sous chef Wes Ronin. At the heart of this love affair with Soul Food is “Miss Connie” Davenport, whose rediscovered fame is spreading nationally with each event.
