HOW DO I GET TO THE BLUES FESTIVAL:
Although there is some parking in Laxey Glen Gardens, why not reduce your carbon footprint and take public transport this year … ?

Those lovely people at Public Transport Division – Department of Community Culture & Leisure (and a former Porn Monkey, in particular) have laid on extra tram and bus services to get you up to Laxey for the Big Wheel Blues Festival this year!!!

So that should add to the fun of the weekend.

Festival Bus Services

On Friday 30 April, Saturday 1st & Sunday 2 May, 2010, an extra bus will depart Laxey at 2315 to Douglas. The last journey to Ramsey will be the timetabled departure at 2316.

On these days extra capacity will also be provided to the advertised buses.
Travel by Tram to the Laxey Blues Festival

On Saturday 1st May, 2010, extra trams will run between Douglas (Derby Castle) and Laxey.

On this day the Derby Castle departures will be:

Please do pass on this email to all your colleagues – and if you are so incline, please put a copy of the attached poster up somewhere prominent in your office, the staff kitchen, your front window at home, anywhere legal!

All the best … and on behalf of all the committee, we look forward to seeing you all at the 12th Big Wheel Blues Festival on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2 … come along and join the fun …

Thanks and best, Jonno
