SalsaCrazy.com Presents The 2nd Annual Summer Salsa Festival, Bringing Salsa Dancing and Live Salsa Music to San Francisco

SalsaCrazy.com, the world’s largest salsa dancing network, brings salsa dancing, salsa classes and the best live music to San Francisco’s centrally located Parc 55 Hotel, from July 16th through 19th.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA–SalsaCrazy announces it’s second annual San Francisco Salsa Dance festival celebrating salsa dance and music with salsa lessons and live bands, over the course of seven days. From July 16th through 19th, at the Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco, the Summer Salsa Festival will be alive with dance workshops and classes, performances, and social dancing. Every night, live salsa music and dancing will occur everywhere inside the hotel. The Salsa Festival, showcasing the San Francisco Bay Area’s top salsa dance teachers and salsa bands and musicians, all takes place in San Francisco’s beautiful Parc 55 Hotel, right off Union Square, in downtown San Francisco.

As major network reality TV shows continue to shine the spotlight on learning to dance, and salsa dance maintains, and even widens, its lead as the most popular social dance style, salsa dancing continues to become increasingly popular, both as a style of music, and as a dance. “It’s the perfect time to showcase salsa dance and music in the heart of the already vibrant San Francisco salsa dance scene – reaching out to everyone with days of classes, music and dancing,” says Evan Margolin, CEO of SalsaCrazy, Inc.

The festival takes place from July 16-19th, 2010 at the Parc 55 Hotel and also has days of pre-parties and events beforehand.

“We have a fantastic line-up of salsa dance classes, with instructors from all over the world, and live music showcasing the Bay Area, that’s going to make an exciting weekend of events at the Parc 55 hotel,” says Margolin. “San Francisco has always had an incredibly talented mix of salsa instructors and musicians, and with live bands performing each and every night, it’s sure to be a scorching hot summer in San Francisco – we expect a great turnout.”

This year’s Salsa Festival follows a decade of exceptional salsa dance festivals, events and nightlife put on by SalsaCrazy, Inc. in the heart of San Francisco. Last year’s “Salsa in the Square” brought out thousands of dancers to Union Square for live music and lessons, and exposed countless people to the fun and passion of salsa dancing. This year, SalsaCrazy is combining both indoor and outdoor events, and greatly expanding the dance lessons, workshops, and live music.

Founded in 1996, SalsaCrazy.com is the world premier salsa dance website. What was once just a passion for Mr. Margolin has turned into San Francisco’s most popular salsa dance lessons and school, the world’s bestselling salsa dance DVD series, and over a dozen web sites fueling the worldwide salsa dance craze. With a goal of helping beginner dancers learn the joy of salsa dancing, Margolin has created a suite of fantastic opportunities to get people out on the dance floor.

DanceSF is the premiere salsa dance school in the San Francisco Bay area, which is staffed by internationally-recognized salsa instructors. Learn to Salsa Dance is a 5-set DVD collection with over 10 hours of dance instruction that’s guaranteed to turn any beginner into a dance aficionado in just minutes.
