Sol & Funk Root perform in Richmond VA on Friday May 21! featuring an all-star cast of top notch musicians: Sol, Mike Tony Echols, Scott Rabino, and Bobby Thompson.

Sol has performed around the world with roots, blues, and funk legends and has backed up musical heavyweights such as Taj Mahal and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on stage and in the studio. Sol brings an all star cast of musicians to Capital Ale House.
Mike Tony Echols, bassist, has worked with Mary Ann Redmond, Politicks, Bobby Thompson and has toured nationally and internationally. Scott Rabino, drummer, has toured nationally with funk, rock, and blues star Tommy Castro.
Also special guest guitarist virtuoso Bobby Thompson will be a part of this Capital Ale House show. Bobby Thompson has worked with members of the Wailers, See-I, SOJA and more!

There will be a very special opening act Margaux LeSourd (Beast Wellington, Bungalo 6) opening! Margaux is a deep jazzy soulful singer as well as a fantastic keyboardist.

This will be a musical celebration of funk, rock, blues, reggae, soul, and more!!
