Bluesman Bobby Whalen Takes the Stage! June 25 – 12 p.m.–That’s Tonight!

The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center welcomes Indianola bluesman Bobby Whalen to the stage in Lucille’s, the Museum gift shop, on Friday, June 25 at noon. Whalen will perform various styles of blues and lead a discussion with his audience.

Whalen has toured extensively in the state and collaborated on shows with many well known blues performers. His Ladies Choice Band performs frequently at festivals and clubs throughout Mississippi.

Whalen has served as a presenting artist of the Mississippi Arts Commission bringing music and visual art into the classroom. Bobby Whalen’s murals can be seen across the state, and his paintings are on display throughout the country in arts centers and galleries.

High Noon Brown Bag Luncheons are held at the B.B. King Museum on the last Friday of every month at 12 noon. Bring your lunch.  Beverages are available for purchase.  No advance reservation required.
