On KSVY-TV Channel 27 in Sonoma/Friday, November 5

SONOMA, CA– Sonoma County-based musician Natasha James is interviewed and performs live on KSVY-TV Channel 27 and KSVY-FM 91.3 in Sonoma, Friday, November 5 at 9:30 a.m.
This will also be streamed live at http://www.sonomasunfam.com and http://www.sonomasuntv.com.

The Honorable Ken Brown, Mayor of Sonoma, takes the interviewer’s chair to speak with James about her winning “Producer’s Choice: Country Songwriter of the Year” and being interviewed on the Red Carpet at Paramount for the 2010 Los Angeles Music Awards (www.lamusicawards.com), as well as James’ upcoming November 18 appearance on Actors E Chat in Hollywood (www.actorsentertainment.com to watch live) and more.

Joining Natasha is guitarist, James Harman. James and band perform the following night (November 6) at the Presidio Yacht Club in Sausalito.

“Winning the LAMA Award for the second year in a row is such a wonderful reaffirmation that what I am doing matters,” says James. “Winning ‘Songwriter of the Year’ makes me feel doubly glad, not just to make a difference as a performer, but that what I write is seen as worthwhile.”

Natasha James seamlessly blends Americana, Blues, Country and Rock into her award-winning music. James’ most recent CD, TEQUILA TIME, was touted by respected international publication MUSIC CONNECTION as “Country steeped in Blues and Tex-Mex.” Both her TEQUILA TIME and BAD JUDGEMENTS albums are currently being played on the air in Japan, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, and more.

MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE calls “If You Think This Is Love” a “downright Bonnie Raitt blues-y performance…one of (James’) best. The song is “a twangy hip shaker guaranteed to grab you by your feet and throw you in a dancing mood.”

James is a Featured Guest and performs live on Actors E Chat in Hollywood, Calif. on Thursday, November 18 at 10 a.m. The popular web-based program interviews some of today’s best and brightest entertainers from both the worlds of music and film making.

Natasha will be a judge, write the first song, and perform on “FALL IN LOVE WITH AMERICA – AGAIN,” a documentary-style web and mobile-based audio/video/multimedia series highlighting stories from across America. In addition to being made into a feature-length documentary film, the project includes live web cam updates, a touring exhibit, interactive websites, and social/networking sites. In her judging capacity, James “will be looking for the next great American song! and working with some of the selected new songwriters,” says Executive Producer, Dennis Gelbaum.

As hot as any performer going, Natasha James won “AC/Hot AC New Artist” at the 2009 NEW MUSIC WEEKLY Awards, joining Kings of Leon, Jakob Dylan, Black-Eyed Peas and others; was chosen a “Hot 100 Live Artist For 2009” by MUSIC CONNECTION; and saw TEQUILA TIME selected as a “Best Of the 2000’s/End Of Decade” choice by Live 365/WOMENS RADIO.

Moving forward, James will be performing at the 2011 Country Music Messe in Berlin.
