Marian McPartland & Friends To Perform at Generations in Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Monday, Oct. 4

The esteemed pianist Marian McPartland will headline the First Annual Coca-Cola Generations in Jazz Festival on Monday, October 4, at Dizzy’s Coca-Cola.

McPartland will be performing with her regular trio — bassist Gary Mazzaroppi and drummer Glen Davis — as well as in duet with the young piano phenom Taylor Eigsti and the elegantly swinging pianist/vocalist Carol Welsman. One of the highlights of this multifaceted evening will be a duet performance by jazz master Kenny Barron with his rising star protégée Helen Sung.

Americana MusicFest Brings Folk, Bluegrass & Other Acoustic Music To New Generations of Music Fans

Young and old alike can enjoy traditional American music at the Americana MusicFest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3 at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills. Musicians will perform folk, bluegrass, Cajun and other American music.

18th Annual Yonkers Riverfest

An outdoor extravaganza of free events for the entire family including music played by top New York metro area performance groups, food, classic cars; children’s petting zoo; mini golf; street jugglers and more!

It will be a day of non-stop excitement for people of all ages as the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District presents the 18th Annual Yonkers Riverfest on Saturday, September 11 starting at noon in the heart of downtown Yonkers and continuing until 7:30 PM—rain or shine.
